  Rape can be fornication myth in the 1990s?

  although it was wrong for the wtbts to claim this i the '60s, '70s, and '80s, i'm pretty sure (correct me if i'm wrong) that most "experts" believed it too.

  idk.. but did most people believe, especially experts -in the 1990s- that if you don't scream or fight when threatend with rape, you have committed fornication?

  But did most people believe, especially experts -IN THE 1990S- that if you don't scream or fight when threatend with rape, you have committed fornication? The WTS did. Wer'en't most people better informed by the '90s? Can you give me quotes to prove this or ideas on how to find some opinions on rape in the '90s? I've looked but come up with nothing.

  I know, I know, I keep bugging you all for quotes, but it's important. I need to help a close family member who is a die-hard JW see the, you know, TRUTH.

  can anyone tell me if it was ever written that spending too much time with your kids is in effect idolising them.. i recall it being said by a co during an elder's meeting, but was it just one child hating co, or something embedded into the wt culture from the top down?.

  I don't remember reading that or hearing anyone say it, but their is often a very negative, cold, callous attitude towards children in the Society. I felt it. We all did, I think, us kids. Except for the popular ones.

  If you have sex with your spouse after you find out he/she cheated on you, you cannot divorce them.

  in the key to family happiness book, the wbts says that if you have sex with your marriage mate after they cheat on you, and you knew it, you cannot divorce them.. i was disgusted by learning that.

  i only discovered this recently, but i am very angry.

  what if your husand tells you that he'll keep screwing other women if you don't have sex with him?
